Quite possibly the BMW of coffees, Kona has a mystique and romance associated with it that is sometimes undeserved. As the demand for this coffee grew, the prices went up and the quality went down. After much cupping, we have decided on the 100% extra fancy. Grown on the dark, volcanic rock slopes of Mauna Loa by Captain Cook Coffee, this coffee is deliciously rich, medium bodied, and slightly acidic with a heady aroma and a complex, winy, floral taste. To maintain the quality of this coffee, we also offer a Kona lite that is a blend of 100% Kona(20%) and Java decaffe(80%)for decaf drinkers
