Originally established by Aarlie and Larry Hull for the purpose of helping indigenous Papua New Guineans realize a greater return on their labors and a more equitable profit from the magnificent natural resources of their country. Their coffee line has expanded to include an environmentally friendly coffee from El Salvador.

Specifically, New Guinea Traders, LLC. has wonderful things happen at and around the plantation. Among other things they have planted thousands of new seedlings and shade trees … rainforest alliance has been instrumental in helping them move more toward organic farming and deal with sustainable agricultural/environmental issues. We are excited about the direction their plantation is moving.

The Old Creek Ranch Winery is owned and managed by John and Carmel Whitman. Carmel is the daughter of Mike and Carmel Maitland, the original founders of the winery in 1981. Chuck Branham, also one of the original founders, remains in charge of winemaking.
